My Secret

I have a secret I have decided to share with the world. So I guess it won't be a secret for long. Well, here it goes. The other day, I did something strange. Now, most people who know me wouldn't be surprised by that statement. Most people think I do many strange things. But this was strange, even for me. I never thought I would do something like this.

So here is my confession. I spray painted a chicken's butt blue. Yep, I did. Pretty weird, huh? 

Don't worry though, I haven't lost my mind. The blue "paint" is an attempt to try and let my poor Elsa's rear end heal. The other chickens have been pecking her and she no longer has a tail. When chickens see red, they tend to peck at it. So when another chicken bleeds, the others will go after the red spot even more. The blue spray is an anti-septic that will also hide her wounds, hopefully keeping the others from pecking at her and allowing her time to heal.
