Alpaca Shower

I discovered that the alpacas like to keep cool by being hosed down.

Here is Huxley taking his turn.

He enjoyed it so much he even dipped his head in.

Oh yeah, that feels good.

No! Don't lay down in the mud!

    The paca boys love to lay in the cool mud! Spray their bellies and legs or just leave the hose run and make a stream! They will lay in it. You can get a plastic kids pool that is about 8 inches tall and fill with water and watch them argue over who's turn it is in the pool!

      Yes, they sure do love the water! I have been trying to find a pool for them but haven't had much luck yet.
