Little Bear

We brought home a little bear this weekend. Well, actually, it was a Great Pyrenees puppy named Miska, which means little bear. She had a rough day yesterday as she left her family behind and took a long road trip to a new home. Today, though, she is doing better and is happily exploring her new surroundings.
These five Pyrenees are just a few of the ones on the farm where Miska was born.

Miska is eight weeks old and already weighs twenty pounds!

The girls love their new fluff ball, as they adoringly call her.

Our first family picture with our new edition.

Miska was not too thrilled with her first car ride and yelped continuously until I held her in my lap. After riding with me for a while, she went into the kennel and rode calmly the rest of the way. Such a good, sweet girl!

We stopped at a friend's house on our way home so they could see the puppy. Miska was a bit overwhelmed so she didn't explore much. She got lots of attention and even got a little nap in though!
